At Anchored Family Dental, we believe that great dental care starts with a great relationship. Located in the heart of Davidson, NC, our practice was built on a simple but powerful idea: every patient deserves to feel at home when they walk through our doors. We wanted to create a different dental experience that is actually enjoyable.
We’re not a corporate dental chain. We’re a small, close-knit practice led by Dr. Bailey Munson — a dentist who truly loves what she does and deeply cares about the families she serves in Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Mooresville, and the greater Lake Norman area.

Dr. Bailey Munson, DDS
Dr. Bailey Munson, DDS, is a UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a passion for compassionate, patient-first care — because she believes going to the dentist should actually feel good and be fun. Her mission is simple: make every patient feel like family from the moment they sit in her chair.
Sara J
Sara is the first warm, happy face you’ll see when you come to Anchored Family Dental! She’s been working in the dental field for 2 years and loves getting to know patients and making a personal connection with each person she interacts with. She’s here to help in all capacities of checking you in and checking you out, billing, insurance, treatment planning, and to answer any question you may have in regards to dental and our practice!
Sara grew up in Western Pennsylvania and moved back to North Carolina to marry her best friend Alden. Some of her interests include cooking and baking, gardening/flowers, hiking and being outdoors, traveling, spending time with family, and snuggling her sweet kitty May. Sara looks forward to the opportunity to meet you and get to know you as you establish care with Dr. Munson at Anchored Family Dental!
Giomer S
Giomer is a dedicated dental professional originally from Venezuela, where she earned her degree in Dentistry. She is fluent in Spanish and loves connecting with our Spanish speaking patients. Since moving to the United States, she has been serving patients as a Dental Assistant since 2005, bringing years of experience, compassion, and attention to detail to every patient interaction. Giomer is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for while supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality treatment. Her background in dentistry allows her to understand patient needs deeply and provide attentive, knowledgeable care throughout each visit.
Faith and family are central to Giomer’s life. She considers herself a faithful daughter of God, a loving wife, and a proud mother of four wonderful children. She strives to serve God through her family, church, community, and the patients she meets every day. Outside the office, Giomer enjoys training with her husband through Spark workouts, traveling, and cheering on her children at their sporting events as their biggest fan.
Lisa R
Lisa is a dedicated dental assistant from Louisiana who has been working in the dental field since 2018. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits and enjoys being part of a team that helps people maintain healthy, confident smiles. Outside of the office, Lisa loves spending time outdoors hiking with her dog, Bentley. She also has a musical side and enjoys playing the piano. Her caring personality and attention to detail help create a welcoming experience for every patient she meets.

Sierra M
Sierra is originally from southern California. She completed her BS degree in Dental Hygiene at Loma Linda University. Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is connecting with her patients and making them feel comfortable even in a dental setting. Sierra’s faith is most important to her and she loves being involved at her church, Current, in Mooresville. On the weekends she loves to be outside with her husband Andrew and two beautiful daughters Hazel and Lillian. In her free time, you’ll probably find her baking sourdough, thrifting, working out or trying a new restaurant.
Jess
Jess joined Anchored Family Dental in May of 2025 and brought with her over 25 years of dental experience. She comes from a line of dental professionals and fell in love with dentistry at a young age. She assisted and went to one year of dental hygiene school and decided she felt much more comfortable with the business aspect of dentistry. She completed her Bachelors in business administration while managing dental practices. For the last 18 years she has been in practice management, insurance management, and taken many certifications in human resources. When Jess isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family (she has 8-year-old twin boys) gardening, yoga and volunteering. If you have any questions regarding your insurance or statement, Jess is your girl!

Your First Visit
At your first appointment, Dr. Munson will perform a thorough Comprehensive Oral Examination. She takes time to review your full medical and dental history and gather detailed diagnostic information, including:
- Digital X-rays
- Intraoral photos
- Hard and soft tissue exam
- Oral cancer screening
Based on her findings, she’ll recommend the right type of cleaning for your needs. If gum disease is present, a specialized cleaning may be scheduled at a follow-up visit. Dr. Munson will walk you through every finding, explain her recommendations, and answer all your questions — no rush, no pressure.
